A personal call to action

It's been a scary, heart-wrenching week — longer than that for some of us.

Let's do better by each other and ourselves.

 

Here's a gentle reminder to practice a little more patience and kindness when communicating with the people you work with and the customers you serve. Be a little more helpful, too.

Think about that when you go about your work today. When you craft those social posts, write those memos, lead those meetings, order that latte, whatever.

 

You may not understand other people's struggles and feelings.

They may not understand yours.

But we can be nice to each other.

We can treat each other with empathy.

 

Words do matter. Actions, too.

Combine both mindfully as you go forward this week, next week and the week after, etc.
